Video From The New Boardwalk

We are getting so close! The boardwalk is finished and crews are finalizing park improvements. Once the trail out to the cabin park is done, they'll re-open the West Hylebos. Since we are getting close, I thought I'd wet everyone's appetite by sharing some video footage of the new walkway. This was taken Friday, January 11th. It was a rainy day, the water was flowing through the park and it was beautiful! Enjoy.

Almost...Almost There!

It appears that we are inching closer and closer to a re-opening for the West Hylebos Wetlands Park. Construction will finish this week, or early next week. Meanwhile, Parks crews are sprucing up the trail between the cabin park and old parking lot. When that is done - a week, perhaps - the Parks Department will open the doors again!

It's been a long wait, but it will be worth it.
