Ruby Dance Tomorrow!
Yes, it's Ruby Dance tomorrow, time for our annual stewardship and awards dinner. This is our 4th annual dinner and this time, we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Yes, the Friends rose from humble beginnings back in 1983 to preserve the West Hylebos Wetlands and then go on to develop the Hylebos Creek Conservation Initiative and preserve 425 acres (to date) of the Hylebos.
Tomorrow, we'll be joined by keynote speaker Tom Murphy, Federal Way Public Schools Superintendent and emcee Sean MacLean (here's a great, though 3-year-old, profile of Sean). We'll have a sumptious catered dinner from Cafe Pacific and a sparkling wine and cheese tasting.
It's not too late to get your tickets. Call the office at 253-874-2005. Do it. You won't regret it...have I ever steered you wrong?
