Hiking to the top of Multnomah Falls

After today's game the team went to visit Multnomah Falls. Anna and I decided to hike to the top of the falls and we're abandoned by the kids - ok, they'd just played a game but still, I thought we'd see more spirit from them than that.

While nearing the top of the switchbacked trail, I looked down the nearly sheer cliff and longed for the flat boardwalk of the Hylebos

Here is the top of the falls. You can get a bit of perspective here on just how far it is down. I think these falls are a salmon passage barrier.

And here I am, having conquered the trail, posing at the top of the falls.
