Where is Chris?

The short answer is: gone. I'm on vacation. Blog posts may become more sporadic, but I still will be posting. (I read the news every day and you know I just have to blog about it!)

So, with that...my constant whining about the weather has finally produced results. Now, I can whine about the heat and the dangerous UV rays. Seriously. Yesterday, I was at a soccer game and being the careful guy that I am, I had covered myself head to toe in UV 300 suncsreen. This did not help my feet, which being in sandals, were being exposed to the sunlight for the first time in many, many months. Within 30 minutes of exposure, they were bright red (this is even with the UV 3,000 level sunscreen, right?).

The next thing I know, everyone one on our sidelines is pointing out how red my feet are and trying to get me to put their sunscreen on my red tootsies (picture Dustin Hoffman in that red dress. ugh.)

Speaking of the dangers of the sun, how about a nice trip to the ice-free Arctic (sorry, Santa, better get the factory moved soon).

And, before jetting outta here to soak up more rays and complain about the weather, I noted that national Puget Sound clean-up legislation has been introduced. Early days on this one, but it's worth tracking...Don't forget your sunscreen, Hylebotians and be safe in the water and the woods!
