The weather was really threatening this morning, but I zipped up my raincoat and decided to chance a trip to the wetland. I'm still looking for the elusive snake. Didn't find him today. But, look what I did find:
This trillium is for you, Ed. Gorgeous, isn't it?
The red-winged blackbirds are singing their hearts out at Marlake.
Mallards are swimming among the water parsley.
Salal is starting to put up new growth.
Indian plum berries are starting to form.
And the bleeding heart blooms are popping out.
